ebook why do I feel stuck
Most of us are trained to put our family, our friends, our job our country before ourselves. until the time we are on our deathbeds we finally realised we forgot to live for ourselves.
It is political correct to say that you're generous, caring, generous and selfless - but if you are continuously accommodating other people when and how can you accommodate you?
Furthermore if you ever believe that there is something that you and only you can do to benefit the world wouldnâ??t putting others first stop that from happening?
So we now have deduced that putting yourself first, and developing your skills is the most generous and beneficial thing for the entire world of humanity; we now have also predetermined that political correctness and compliance is the highest form of selfishness given it only necessitates fake martyrdom and apparent consideration.
If you desire to help others, first help yourself. You can not rescue a drowning man if you're still in the water.
People maybe under the false pretence that you need to go to university, get a good job, stop smoking , cease drinking, get in shape, help your family, contribute towards your little ones, fulfill your country, work overtime for a company or anything else to be loved and appreciated.
But if you were truly loved unconditionally you would probably not have to do any of these things, all you would need to do is actually do what you love and live ones dream.
Exactly why do people feel compelled to blend in and to conform and to perform? People are very social in nature and in truth, according to David Rock social factors are prime and over rule logic.
If you have been doing the same thing too long and getting a substantial amount of affection and acceptance it usually is difficult to understand that you will be loved and respected by other people more if you do what makes you happy.
The constant repetition of statements like make sure you get a respected job, make sure you get a good education and also the preferential way people with positions involving status are referred to, installs a very good de-motivator with regard to doing things in a different way.
But not only are you confronted with the concern with failure, nevertheless secondary fear of humiliation and losing social position, mentally you close the dream to evaluation.
Which is the reason most people will go to kindergarten, primary school, high school, university or college then get a job which pays relatively poorly compared to the cost, hours spent learning and pain necessary for training.
So what on earth makes a life associated with conformity, drudgery and never ending submission seem delightful? And how to stop feeling cheated?
Three factors : first your restriction associated with information, 2nd through emotions, third remorse and morality (you can’t do that , how about our wants) .
Anything technique that will assist you to succeed is going to be discouraged; labelled immoral or even kept hidden to stop you from not feeling bad.
